WELCOME BACK TO A NEW SCHOOL YEAR!

Well, it's September again, welcome back to CHS and specifically to the LIBRARY!

I read a few books this summer, but my favorite was These Shallow Graves by Jennifer Donnelly, The book was a great mix of romance, historical fiction (set in the late 1800's in New York City) and mystery. I enjoyed the author's other book, A Northern Light, as well.  What did you read this summer? Please comment below and let us know!

I just found out about this program that started last week through the North Central Regional Library. You can download two free audiobooks per week now through August 17th. I hope you take advantage of this!

I just discovered KIZOA!!!

I had some time this Friday afternoon to try something new I just discovered: KIZOA, a free online movie maker. This is just a very quick example, there's a lot more you can do with this app.

Mrs. Gemienhart's 9th grade Honors English class is reading Sold by Patricia McCormick. They are using ths video for part of their studies about human sex trafficking, a huge global problem.
