What is your favorite scary book?

Recently I asked some students what their favorite scary book was and I displayed their answers on the library window. I'm not much of a scary book reader, but I like to have some ideas on hand. So, if you want to read some scary books, here are a few suggestions from CHS folks:  The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern (Emma Hall), The Black Cat by Edgar Allan Poe (Leslie Jurado), The Shining by Stephen King (Allie Mackey), How They Croaked by Georgia Bragg (Kim Holladay), Ten by Gretchen McNeil (Caroline Berglin),  Night of the Living Dummy by R.L. Stine (Lucas Shrader), The Neighbor by Lisa Gardner (Skylar Sand), This Dark Endeavor by Kenneth Oppel (Jonathan Mangus), The Ashes Trilogy by Ilsa J. Bick (Sam Miller), The Lockdown - Escape from the Furnace Series by Alexander Gordon Smith (Nik Dolph), Coraline by Neil Gaiman (MC Castaneda), Helter Skelter by Vincent Bugliosi (Seth Meros).   Most of these books can be found at the CHS library, so come and check them out!
